It would be great to have you become part of our staff or be a regular volunteer! Do you have a heart for camp ministry and want to make a lasting impact on youth? Come join us at Camp White Branch. We are currently looking for individuals for seasonal positions and always have volunteer opportunities available to help operate the camp. Must be 18 years of age and a background check will be performed for all positions.

2025 SUMMER CAMP VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

These positions are part of our camp programming for Church of God summer camps. You will be actively interacting with youth during your time at camp. Most camps are only 5 days long.  Must be 18 years of age and pass a back ground check. Come be a part of this life changing ministry.  

Counselor

This is one of the most rewarding roles during camp and allows you to be an example of Christ to youth. You will lead devotions, prayer, and participate in fun activities with a group of youth, as well as lead a small cabin group. We offer training in May/June, for those who are interested but maybe feel they aren’t qualified. Volunteer position.

Health Staff

Each camp is required to have health staff on site during camp to administer medications and take care of any medical concerns. We want to ensure the health, safety, and overall wellbeing of all on site during camp. These individuals need to be CPR and first aid certified. Volunteer position.

2025 SUMMER FACILITY VOLUNTEERS/SEASONAL STAFF 

These individuals play an important role in the operations of the camp during summer camp season and while rental groups are on site. Volunteer group housing is available or you can bring your own RV/camper. Must be 18 years of age and pass a background check. We would love to have you help us this summer!

Cook/Kitchen Assistant Volunteers

  • Prep food and serve meals under direction of lead cook
  • Fill condiments, prep salad/cereal bar, as needed
  • Assist with cleaning of the kitchen – during camp and after
  • Prepare beverages, set out condiments, dining hall, etc.
  • Dishwashing, spot cleaning after meals, washing pots/pans, etc.
  • Help as needed
  • Food Handler Certification Required 

Lead Cook- Paid Position

  • Prepare and serve meals to guests
  • Proactive communication with Operations Manager on site
  • Provide direction to volunteer staff
  • Enforce health regulations and standards 
  • In charge of cleaning of kitchen- during and after camp
  • Experience cooking for large groups
  • Knowledge cooking with convection ovens, griddles, etc.
  • Food Handler Certification Required
