Our Compass

We desire our camp and retreat center to be a place where individuals, from children to adults, are able to come and get away from the challenges life places in their path and focus on all aspects of personal well being, either as a group or as individuals.

Camp White Branch’s mission is to provide a safe, developed wilderness venue for children, youth, and adults to have life changing experiences that impact overall character development. We achieve this by offering year round Church of God ministries and opening up our facility to outside groups for camps, retreats, outdoor schools, family reunions, and other events. Being located in the Willamette National Forest, guests at our facility are removed from the stresses of day to day life and can enjoy the peace and solitude of nature. This creates opportunities for group interaction and activities, enables quality alone time when needed, and even more important, for relationships to be developed with others and with God. We encourage all to experience the wonders of the outdoors on our site and nearby attractions.

The Church of God summer camps and events offered focus on changing lives. They include fun activities planned each day, time for fellowship and learning, and encourages attendees to develop a relationship with God, with focused curriculum, guest speakers, and individuals who are living by example as counselors. Our religious affiliation is aligned with Church of God, Anderson, Indiana, if you would like more information.

We want to provide an affordable location for churches, community, outdoor schools, and other groups to utilize to promote physical, emotional, educational, relational, and spiritual development.

The Association of the Churches of God has been blessed with the opportunity to operate a non profit camp to enable us to fulfill our mission to introduce all to Jesus and show God’s love through this ministry. Our desire is for our churches and outside groups to have a place for activities and gatherings to promote the overall health – both mind and body- of children, youth, and adults. We strive to keep our facility costs low in order to allow as many groups as possible to utilize it,while at the same time ensuring quality facilities and services. With our on site waterfalls, creek, hiking trails, and on site activities groups are able to be active and have learning experiences at the same time. For many, having an overnight camping experience is a first, which is what we want to offer.
